Privacy
Last updated 31 August 2026.
We collect the email you type into the Friday list or the contact form, and first-party analytics: page path, referrer/UTM source, device class, country (from the CDN on Vercel), and anonymous session ids stored in sessionStorage — not a tracking cookie. We do not store IP addresses in the analytics tables. Server logs may still see IPs for abuse fighting.
If you turn on breaking alerts, we store a Web Push subscription (an endpoint URL and encryption keys issued by your browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and similar). That is not a Google/Bing/Yahoo search alert and not an email. We use it only to send a system notification when the newsroom flags a fresh leak, rumour, or launch. You can revoke it in the browser or with Turn off on /news. Expired endpoints are deleted when the push service returns 410.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party ad pixels. Affiliate cookies are set by retailers after you click out. Newsletter addresses are not shared with ranking subjects.
